DVM
Dr. Rob grew up in San Angelo, TX, where he began volunteering at a local vet hospital and rescue as a teenager. His early experiences there sparked his passion for animal care. After high school, he worked as a veterinary technician while starting college at the University of Vermont, where he discovered his interest in large animal medicine, especially dairy medicine. He transferred to Texas A&M to finish his undergraduate degree and worked at A&M AgriLife Extension, honing his skills in production animal medicine until his graduation in 2009. Gig ‘em!
In 2016, Dr. Rob graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine and became an Official Veterinarian for the Scottish government, overseeing slaughter plants in southern Scotland. In 2019, he moved to the Texas Hill Country to become the Medical Director at a new hospital in Dripping Springs. There, he helped grow the startup into a successful practice, gaining valuable leadership experience and providing excellent care through a global pandemic.
Dr. Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and two children on their small homestead in Blanco. They manage a small herd of goats, a few chickens, and the occasional tomato plant. You might find them swimming, hiking, or camping around Central Texas. If you see a rambunctious yellow lab named Turkey, you’ve found them!
